God of this City

The song “God of this City” which you have probably heard at least once proclaims the Lordship of God over all places and times.

This Sunday we will be looking at a character in the Bible who could have certainly benefitted from the lyrics of this song.

In the book of Jonah, we are told the story of God’s surpassing love for all people and the unwillingness of Jonah to go to his enemies and offer the Grace and goodness which God is known for.

Come this Sunday to explore what God’s call is, and what that reveals about him.  We will discuss what things hinder us (like Jonah) to answer God’s call and to be a part of God’s mission in this world.
